Throughout the weekend, Egdehirden will be performing Viking combat demonstrations, showcasing historical techniques, formations, and fighting styles inspired by the warrior traditions of the Viking Age.

Expect close combat with shields and steel, group drills, and immersive fight scenes that bring Viking warfare to life. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or just looking for something exciting to see with your family, this is an event you don’t want to miss!

Odderøya Vikingmarked is one of the largest Viking festivals in southern Norway, featuring markets, crafts, food, storytelling, games, and activities for all ages.
