What a day it was! On Norway’s Constitution Day, Egdehirden proudly marched in the Borgertoget (Citizens’ Parade) in Kristiansand, showcasing our passion for historical fencing and the martial arts of the Viking Age and Middle Ages.

We walked alongside many other fantastic local organizations, and it was a great honor to represent both our sport and our community in front of hundreds of cheering spectators. Along the way, we performed short demonstrations with swords and shields, and the crowd’s response was incredibly positive.
We were also featured in Fædrelandsvennen, which covered the event with a touch of humor and enthusiasm. You can read the article here (Norwegian only):

We’re thrilled to have had the chance to show who we are and what we do on such a special day for the country. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to watch – and to our members who showed up in full gear and made the day unforgettable!
